Real Madrid president Florentino Perez says he doesn't want to sell Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester United and PSG are chasing Ronaldo this summer, with both clubs having made contact with his agent, Jorge Mendes, to talk serious terms.

Perez said: "I want to build the future of Real Madrid for Cristiano. And I want Cristiano to be the best paid in the world. He has shown exemplary behavior in these four years.

"He has not had any problems with anyone. Neither the club nor anyone. In everyday life, sure one day you get angry with someone, but that's like anyone.

"Cristiano said he was sad and I said we would do everything possible to make him happy because he is the best player in the world.

"I do not know if he had an offer from Paris Saint Germain.

"I am also sad at times."
