Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to make a new pitch to land Santos star Neymar ahead of Barcelona.

Under pressure ahead of this summer's Real elections, Perez is turning to Neymar after being quoted €90 MILLION by Tottenham for Gareth Bale.

Punto Pelota says Perez, aware that Barcelona have a deal in place for Neymar, is utilising every contact in his diary to try and swing the transfer in his favour. He is even going over the same ground Barca president Sandro Rosell travelled to secure the pre-contract he has with Neymar.

Perez has a high ranking Real official on Brazilian soil this week attempting to find a way to trump Barca for the Santos star.

Real would be prepared to cover the €10 million penalty clause Santos would have to pay Barca if they chose to sell him to the Madrid giants.
