Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has defended their failure to sign Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero over the summer.
Aguero risked the wrath of Atletico Madrid fans by declaring an ambition to join Real, only to be left hanging by Perez when it came to the crunch.
El Kun eventually joined City, where he has become a Premier League sensation.
"He did not come because, among other things, he would have cost 90 million," insisted Perez. "But he is still very young, we'll see what happens ..."
