Real Madrid president Florentino Perez returns to the negotiating table with Santos today over Neymar. Marca says Florentino will take the reigns from today after stepping away from the table during the club's preseason tour of the US and China.
Santos insist Neymar must stay for at least the Club World Cup in December - if not for even longer after next year's club anniversary.
However, nothing has been communicated directly to Real nor Florentino and the president will now seek clarification.
Real coach Jose Mourinho has told Florentino he would prefer Neymar signed immediately, rather than wait for him in January.
