Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has jumped into the battle for wantaway Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang has made a transfer request at BVB this week after falling out with management.

In Germany, it's suggested the Gabon international wants to join Arsenal in the coming days as they prepare to sell Alexis Sanchez.

However, Don Balon says Perez is also keen and ready to offer €70m to trump the Gunners.

Perez is in the market for a striker signing and is also considering Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi, though he is now favouring Aubameyang after this week's developments.
