Real Madrid president Florentino Perez read the riot act to the players after their draw at Celta Vigo on Sunday.
Diario Gol says Perez made his way to the away locker room after the 2-2 result and could be heard making it clear what he thought of the result and some individuals. Sources claim it was the loudest they'd heard Perez address the players post-match.
"Rotten apple" was one phrase overheard, though the identity of his ire couldn't be established.
However, it's suggested Perez is fast losing patience with coach Zinedine Zidane after supporting him in the summer market. Perez believes the imbalance of the squad is due to Zidane's approach to transfer policy.
Germany coach Joachim Low and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte are two early candidates under consideration by Perez.
