Real Madrid president Florentino Perez plans to shake up the football management side of the club in 2013. Once he is re-elected, which looks odds-on with no opponent yet to come forward, Perez will set about shaking up the front office.
El Mundo Deportivo says sports director Miguel Pardeza will be moved on, while a new 'athletic director' will be appointed.
Perez wants to create the new position, which will sit above the first team coach and Castilla coach and dictate playing policy. The president has been dismayed by the tension between coach Jose Mourinho and the Castilla's Alberto Toril this season.
Mourinho is aware of Perez's plans and has given his approval.
