Real Madrid president Florentino must sell to land Man City striker Aguero

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is exploring the prospect of prising Sergio Aguero away from Manchester City this summer.

Perez is conscious that new coach Rafa Benitez has arrived with no major name added to the locker room - and sees Aguero as a potential Galactico.

Real have spent almost €60 million in the transfer market this year on Danilo ( 30), Lucas Silva (14), Casemiro (7.5), Marco Asensio (3.9) and Martin Odegaard (2.3). But none of these players are regarded as crowd pleasers.

Aguero is up for discussion - but his €60 million valuation will mean Real need to sell to bring him in this summer.

Karim Benzema and Fabio Coentrao could be sacrificed by Perez in order to balance the books should City show a willingness to sell.
