Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has made pact with goalkeeper Keylor Navas and his agents.
Real are being linked with a late market move for Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.
However, Diario Sport says such reports are wide of mark. Instead, Perez is ready to go this season with Keylor.
The Costa Rica goalkeeper has been told he will spend this season as Real's No1, but a new keeper will arrive next summer - with De Gea the priority.
Perez hopes by giving Keylor the year to find a new club it will help smooth negotiations with De Gea about a return to Madrid in 2018.
