Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez has welcomed interest from Real Madrid.
Notwithstanding last night's Champions League rout of APOEL, Real have struggled for goals this season - which has forced president Florentino Perez to seek a striker signing in January.
Contact has been made with Alexis' agents and the Chile international is pleased with the approach. Despite his Barcelona background, Alexis would welcome a move to Madrid.
However, with the likes of Manchester City and PSG also keen, Alexis has had it relayed to Florentino he will only seriously consider Real Madrid if two conditions are met.
First, the striker wants assurances he will be a first-choice, rather than be joining as cover for the BBC of Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.
And second, Alexis is demanding he be paid more than what he is currently earning with the Gunners.
If Real can satisfy both demands, then the experienced forward, off contract in June, will be willing to move to Madrid in January.
