RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner is back on the radar of Real Madrid.

After their dismal European Super Cup defeat to Atletico Madrid this week, Real president Florentino Perez is returning to the market for a new striker signing.

AS says Perez is willing to spend big - but not at the crazy prices dictated this summer by Premier League clubs.

Werner, Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi and Valencia ace Rodrigo Moreno are all being considered with two weeks to run before the European transfer deadline falls.

For new Real coach Julen Lopetegui, the striker to sign is Rodrigo, having worked with him as Spain manager. Valencia are demanding €80m to sell this month.
