Real Madrid president Florentino furious in aftermath of Euro exit
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez was visibly upset after their Champions League elimination by Olympique Lyon.
Days before Wednesday's shock exit, Perez had declared "Madrid has inscribed in its DNA the word 'Europe'."
But during the disappointment at the Santiago Bernabeu, Don Balon says Perez left the executive box saying over and again "this will not do for me".
Real director Esperanza Aguirre moved to assure the president, "It's okay, because next year we will win."
