Real Madrid president Florentino faces €500 MILLION spend to land Neymar

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez would have to part with a staggering €500 MILLION this summer to prise Neymar away from PSG.

Florentino hasn't been shy talking about bringing the former Barcelona star back to Spain, but has been warned the money involved could put Real's financial future in danger.

Esteve Calzada, CEO of 'PrimeTime Sports', produces a biannual study of the transfer market which is regarded highly across the high levels of football.

Calzada, reports Sport, believes it would take €250m to convince PSG to sell Neymar after they parted with €222m to sign him from Barca. A five-year contract worth €40m-a-year would also need to be tabled.

And when the various government taxes are added, the operation will be breaking the €500m barrier should Florentino pursue it.
