Real Madrid president Florentino Perez missed the Castilla's 0-0 draw with Barakaldo yesterday.

Perez is a regular fixture, if his packed schedule allows it, whenever Zinedine Zidane and co are playing. However, after Real's home humiliation by Barcelona he chose to skip the match.

Castilla carried the attacking weight of the game and had the clearest chances, however they were unable to breach the Basque side's goal.

The result means that Zidane's men remain second in the table, three points behind Barakaldo.
