Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to make a stop-gap striker signing in January.
Real coach Zinedine Zidane has made it no secret his squad "lacks a No9" and has requested a new striker signing from Perez.
The president has agreed, though the two centre-forwards suggested have raised eyebrows.
"Real Madrid are looking at players, strikers, who accept being on the bench and who have been in the house like Roberto Soldado and Álvaro Negredo," revealed pundit Eduardo Inda to El Chiringuito.
Soldado is now with Fenerbahce, whole Negredo is currently playing for Besiktas.
