Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has attempted clear the air talks with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Before Sunday's rout of Deportivo La Coruna, Perez and Ronaldo spoke face-to-face about his contract situation. Ronaldo has been pushing for a pay-rise, despite only signing a new deal in November 2016.
El Larguero says Perez has informed Ronaldo "there is no money for your renewal". But it's an explanation the Portuguese has been convinced by and he still feels let down over broken promises of a new deal made last year.
He also believes Perez and Real could've done more to defend him after his five-match ban earlier this season.
For the moment, there remains a suspicion inside Ronaldo's camp that Perez is actively seeking a taker for the No7 - which would include offering him in a swap for PSG attacker Neymar.
