Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has played down reports that Bernd Schuster will be installed as new coach on Monday.

Asked last night about the Getafe coach, Calderon insisted he would be led by sports director Pedja Mijatovic over a decision on the future of Fabio Capello.

"If Mijatovic says that Capello does not want to continue, it would be necessary to think about what type of coach we need," said Calderon. "But in the case of Schuster, he has a contract and we would not speak with him until he found a solution regarding that.

"I insist that we will never move for Schuster while he is contracted. It will be up to he and Getafe to find an agreement before anything else happens."
