AS says Calderon has called a board meeting for this afternoon to bring directors up-to-speed on his and sports chief Pedja Mijatovic's transfer plans.

While refusing to throw in the towel, Calderon will acknowledge that the prospect of signing Ronaldo is becoming slim and 'Plan B' will now be kicked into action.

Plan B involves Real using the cash put aside for Ronaldo to sign Hamburg midfielder Rafael van der Vaart and Valencia striker David Villa.
