Real Madrid president Boluda denies bid plans for Man Utd's Ronaldo

Real Madrid president Vicente Boluda has denied reports that he's preparing a new bid for Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Reacting to claims they had secured a £60 million bank loan to fund the push, Boluda insisted: "We have not asked for any loan. Requesting a loan for the month of June does not make sense.

"There is no possibility to sign anybody at the moment." Chelsea and Manchester United have expressed fresh interest in Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic this season, it has been revealed.

El Mundo Deportivo says both Premiership giants have made new enquiries lately about Krkic's availability.

The teenage striker is contracted at Barca until 2013 and is reluctant to leave the Nou Camp, despite his lack of games this season.
