Real Madrid are preparing a massive bid for Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
The Sunday Times says Real have made little secret of their admiration for Spurs star Kane who has emerged as one of the most prolific strikers in world football.
But until recently they have been prepared to put their interest on the back-burner while prioritising moves for Chelsea duo Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois.
Yet the club's disappointing performances in La Liga this season have left club bosses anxious to make changes to bridge the gap between themselves and Barcelona.
Real are now preparing to come up with a record £200million bid in an attempt to snatch Kane from Tottenham.
At 24, Kane would represent a sound investment for the future and is the kind of player Zinedine Zidane would be able to build his side around.
