Real Madrid management are this week discussing the surprise sale of Xabi Alonso.
El Confidencial says Real coaching staff, including boss Carlo Ancelotti, have become concerned by Xabi's fitness in preseason. The 32 year-old appears to have lost weight and has struggled to keep pace in training and during friendly action.
Xabi only penned a two-year deal earlier this year, but Real chiefs have put every option on the table, including selling him this month.
With Toni Kroos arriving from Bayern Munich, Xabi will slip further down the pecking order and Ancelotti has informed directors that his senior midfielder is no longer 'untouchable'.
