Real Madrid have sounded out Sevilla about Gary Medel's situation.
Estadio Deportivo says Real have identified Medel as a replacement for Lassana Diarra and are already in talks with Sevilla about a price for the Chile international.
Medel is coming off a superb season for Sevilla and his form has not gone unnoticed at the Santiago Bernabeu.
