Real Madrid prepare £30M offer for Man Utd keeper De Gea

Real Madrid are maintaining their pursuit of Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea. The Mirror says Real are determined to prise him away from Old Trafford in a £30m.

The Spanish giants have sounded out De Gea's representatives and are desperate to make him the successor to Iker Casillas who is expected to leave next summer.

De Gea has 18 months left on his current deal and United boss Louis Van Gaal is confident he will commit to a new contract after establishing himself as one of the best keepers in the world.

But United's move to sign Victor Valdes on an 18-month contract is a clear sign they are covering all eventualities as they sweat on De Gea's future.

Real Madrid are ready to pay £30m this summer and are now going all out to get their man, believing he would be interested in a return to Spain.
