Real Madrid's powerbrokers visited the players after their defeat to Champions League rivals Juventus on Wednesday night.

AS says Real president Ramon Calderon, along with directors Pedja Mijatovic and Miguel Angel Portugal, visited the home dressing room after the 2-0 reverse to assure the players of their support.

Calderon addressed the beaten team, declaring: "There is nothing to be worried about, here. This is just a defeat, I know it's hard, but nothing changes. You have to think that if we beat BATE (Borisov) then we're already into the second round of the Champions League, which is our first clear target.

"And we're just two points from the Liga leadership, even though we have drawn against Almeria. Now we have to lift our heads, because this is Madrid and you have to think about (the next game against) Malaga."
