Real Madrid can re-sign their conqueror, Alvaro Negredo, from Almeria for £2.5 million at the end of the season.

Negredo struck from the spot, his seventh goal of the season, and tormented Real's defence on Saturday in his team's 2-0 victory.

The prolific striker only joined Almeria in the summer and his contract carries a clause that allows Real to re-sign him for a set fee of £2.5 million.

It's been suggested Real could exercise the option and then sell Negredo to a bigger club before the start of season 2008/09.
