Real Madrid are ready to make a late market move for Chelsea fullback Marcos Alonso.

Tuttosport says Real are launching a bid for the left-back as they seek to replace wantaway defender Marcelo.

Marcelo is pushing to join Juventus, but will only be allowed to leave if Real can sign a readymade replacement.

And they're set to push Chelsea to sell Alonso over the next 48 hours, according to the Turin source.

Such a move would mean a return for the former Castilla defender, where both his father and grandfather served Real Madrid with great distinction.
