Real Madrid players were left confused by the tactics of coach Carlo Ancelotti in the first-half of their defeat at Barcelona, it has been revealed. Coverage in Canal+'s 'The Day After', shows Real leaders Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos complaining about Ancelotti's system.
Microphones picked up Ronaldo telling Ramos: "It's very bad, very bad, everyone's back and I'm left alone.
Ramos replied: "It's s***! Everyone behind the ball. We're stuck down here."
After halftime, things became better, though Ramos was picked up complaining to Ancelotti.
"You've robbed us much of the ball, coach."
It's also revealed Pepe and Ramos swapped positions without asking Ancelotti.
"Sergio! Stay here and I'll do better there (in midfield)," shouted Pepe.
"Yeah, but I cannot leave, I'm here covering."
