Real Madrid have announced that they will end their season with a trip to Saudi Arabia to square off against local side Al-Nasr.

The friendly match is scheduled for the 20th May, in which Al-Nasr will pay tribute to their greatest ever striker, Majed Abdullah, who scored 533 goals for the club during a sparkling career in domestic Saudi football.

Abdullah, now a television pundit for ART, never received a proper sent off at the end of his career and the club are now ready to put things right with a testimonial for the player nicknamed the 'Arabian Pele', who is also the highest scorer in the history of the Saudi national team.

The two teams have previously met at the World Club Championships in 2000 - a game that was comfortably won by Madrid thanks to goals from Nicolas Anelka, Savio and Raul.

Madrid have a strong following in the region and there are sure to be thousands of long-distance Madridistas in attendance looking to celebrate the team's recent league title triumph - the 31st in their history.
