Real Madrid are weighing up a swap proposal for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez. Tevez is interesting Real, which still have room in their squad for a 'No9' after failing to convince Santos to part with Neymar .

With City anxious to offload their star Argie a swap is being mooted, with the Premier League eyeing Sami Khedira as cover for Yaya Toure. The Ivory Coast midfielder will leave City in the New Year for the African Nations Cup.

Khedira's future at Real is clouded after he was publicly criticised by coach Jose Mourinho earlier this season.
