Real Madrid are planning a bid for Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez.
The Mirror says Tevez is on Real Madrid's shopping list for the transfer window - as a replacement for injured Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The Spanish giants are expected to launch an aggressive bid for the Argentine hitman in January, once they get news on former United ace van Nistelrooy's knee problems.
A source close to Tevez revealed: "Carlos would prefer to stay at United, but the interest from Real is genuine - and there are other clubs interested, too."
