Real Madrid are preparing a bumper £20 million January bid for Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. The Daily Express says the Spanish giants have turned to Tottenham's France goalkeeper as a possible replacement for the long-serving Iker Casillas, who has had an inconsistent campaign.
Lloris is still Mauricio Pochettino's first-choice at White Hart Lane, but the Frenchman, despite signing a new five-year deal this summer, is believed to want Champions League football - which on current form is some way off for Spurs.
Real will be prepared to wait until next summer if a deal cannot be done in January, while French giants Paris St Germain, who targeted Chelsea's Petr Cech in the summer, are also interested.
