Real Madrid have decided against buying back Alvaro Negredo from Almeria.

Real allowed the deadline to pass last night, though they will have another opportunity to re-sign the former Castilla star next summer. However, rather than this year's £2.5 million price, Real will have to cough up at least another £1 million to buy-back Negredo for season 2009/10.
