Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and coach Zinedine Zidane remain split over the pursuit of Eden Hazard.
The Chelsea star is under consideration at Real for the 2018 summer market, but the two most important men at the club are not in agreement over his arrival.
El Mundo Deportivo says Zidane wants to see the deal happen being a huge fan of the Belgian. The Frenchman has followed Hazard's progress since his days with Lille and has a good relationship with the Chelsea attacker.
However, Florentino isn't so bullish. While not doubting Hazard's quality, the president is backing young duo Marco Asensio and Dani Ceballos to prove their potential over the next 12 months.
Florentino doesn't wish to see their progress stall, particularly Asensio, due to the arrival of Hazard.
