Real Madrid continue to work behind-the-scenes on a deal for Santos star Neymar. El Confidencial says Real president Florentino Perez has representatives in Brazil this week negotiating terms with all parties involved in Neymar's transfer.

It's understood Real will strike terms over a fee for the Brazilian whiz for €56 million - with the player settling on a contract worth €6 million-a-year.

Neymar was named among the final 23-player nominations list for this year's Ballon d'Or.
