Real Madrid are in talks with off contract Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek.

The Poland international is being lined up by Real as cover for No1 Iker Casillas, with Diego Lopez expected to join Villarreal in the summer and third-choice Kiko Casillas also moving on.

AS says Dudek has already given his approval to Real after talks with their sports director Pedja Mijatovic and his agent has also confirmed an offer from Madrid in the last 24 hours.

Mijatovic is pushing for the arrival of Dudek, who only this week in his column for tribalfootball.com wrote that his next move "could be as spectacular as the 2005 Champions League final against AC Milan!".
