Real Madrid are discussing a player swap with Bayern Munich for star winger Franck Ribery. Ribery is wanted at Real after the recommendation of transfers advisor Zinedine Zidane and the Spanish giants have included Rafael van der Vaart and Wesley Sneijder in their latest offer, says Marca.

However, new Bayern coach Louis van Gaal isn't interested in Van der Vaart and instead wants a deal which would bring Sneijder and Arjen Robben to Munich in exchange for Ribery.

Real are now considering the Germans' counter proposal.
