Real Madrid are eyeing Manchester City strike-ace Carlos Tevez.

The News of the World says Real and Inter Milan are monitoring Tevez's new contract talks at City.

Tevez believes he should be entitled to at least the £160,000 paid to City flop Robinho.

And he knows his Argentina team-mate Lionel Messi is in on approaching £30m a year at Barcelona.

On the basis he can be a major force alongside Messi at the World Cup, Tevez is ready to press to become English football's top earner.

He knows he could top £200,000 a week at Madrid or go close to that at Inter, where he might have gone last summer.
