Both Castilla stars featured in the 3-1 win.

"A few weeks ago they asked me about him. We knew about him. He is a player that has played several games in Brazil, is World Champion with the Under-20s. In a match at home, with injuries in the team, we needed players with personality and experience and honestly he has played well. It was good for both him and Nacho," said Karanka.

"Nacho made a great performance. He's been our player since the start of the season. When we need him he always performs. He is the Castilla captain and one of the leaders.
