Real Madrid No2 Aitor Karanka says the arrival of Emmanuel Adebayor has lifted everyone at the club.
The increased competition the on-loan Manchester City striker provides has been welcomed by the Real coaching staff.
"We are delighted. Emmanuel has been a player that, despite how little he has participated, is bringing many things," said Karanka.
"I think, apart from football, he has been great in the dressing room, and always has a smile. Karim too is playing well, and this competition can bring out the best in them, and that is good for the team."
