Real Madrid No2 Paul Clement is being linked with Arsene Wenger's job at Arsenal. The Daily Star says Wenger, 65, will handpick his replacement when he does retire and has identified Real Madrid No.2 Clement as a shock contender.
Clement, 42, has coached at Chelsea, Fulham and Blackburn.
He joined Paris St-Germain in 2012 to work under Carlo Ancelotti - then moved with him to Madrid a year later.
Asked in May whether he is close to going into management as a number one, Clement said: "I think it's soon, it will be soon.
"Will it be England? I don't rule out anything.
"More than likely in England, although if a nice opportunity came up in another country I wouldn't rule it out. I've enjoyed working in France and Spain as well."
Clement was linked with the Brighton and West Brom jobs last season but has stayed put at the Bernabeu.
