Real Madrid assistant coach Marcos Alvarez has hit out at the criticism coming from supporters of potential presidential candidates.
With the transfer rumour mill in overdrive ahead of Real's elections, Alvarez is fed-up with the way the current team is being picked apart by critics.
"I would be ashamed to criticize Madrid right now," snapped the former Tottenham coach. "They're tampering with the players and are more interested in bringing us down than supporting the team.
"We've won 6-0 at Malaga and overcame Betis 6-1, but they call this team a disaster."
