Real Madrid must convince Milito familty about Diego move

Real Madrid are ready to discuss a cash-plus-players swap bid with Real Zaragoza for striker Diego Milito.

Real coach Bernd Schuster is desperate to land a new forward after a disappointing preseason campaign and has made Argentina international Milito his top target.

The buyout clause in Milito's Zaragoza contract is set at £17 million and Madrid hope to sweeten the deal by offering Julio Baptista and Roberto Soldado as part of their bid.

The big stumbling block, however, will be the Milito family, which is still upset with the way Real Madrid treated Diego's brother Gaby when he first moved to Spain.
