Real Madrid are monitoring Barcelona winger Isaac Cuenca's contract talks.

Cuenca has been a revelation in his first season with Barca's senior team, but comes off contract in June and is unimpressed with their opening offer.

Fichajes.net says Real have already been in touch with Cuenca's camp to make a counter proposal.

The winger will be able to speak with Real about a shock move to Madrid from January 1.
