Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio hopes to start in today's El Clasico with Barcelona.

Asensio insists he enjoys a good relationship with coach Zinedine Zidane.

"It is difficult to manage a squad as good as our one," he said in an interview with Club del Deportista.

"He knows that he can count on me.

"He has a lot of confidence in me and he speaks to me a lot.

"I work hard every day to earn more minutes, but I am aware of where I am.

"I am at the best club in the world and I am happy at Real Madrid, so leaving has never crossed my mind."
