Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic has talked up the ability of teammate Dani Ceballos.

Ceballos saw 17 minutes of action for yesterday's victory over Alaves, just days after his 30-second appearance against Leganes in midweek.

Kovacic, after the 4-0 Alaves win, declared: "I do not like to talk a lot about other teammates but I think Dani is a great player and a great young teammate who will have a bright future at Real Madrid.

"The change was a bit difficult but the coach has already spoken with him and everything has been settled."
