Real Madrid midfielder Isco was delighted after their 3-0 rout of Roma.

Real thumped their Champions League opponents, with Isco, Gareth Bale and Mariano Diaz scoring the goals.

"Happy with the result and with a good game we could have scored some more goals," said Isco.

"We have to keep improving, we made a good game, we could be better and control to avoid conceding, we are on the right track."

On Luka Modric's performance, he added: "We already know him, he's a great player and every game gives us a lot and hopefully we can all be at his level.

"I also think he deserves it (the Ballon d'Or) for being a unique player with us and with Croatia."
