Real Madrid midfielder Alvaro Medran faces four months out at Getafe.

Medran is on-loan at Getafe this season.

He has undergone surgery to stitch a fractured shin bone, and while the operation was declared a success, he will be out of action for the next four months.

It's the second such injury suffered by the midfielder, who is on a one-year loan from Real Madrid – back in April he was forced out with an identical injury whilst training with Castilla.
