Real Madrid No2 Aitor Karanka has rapped winger Pedro Leon.

Leon, on-loan at Getafe, said he believed he had no future at Real while coach Jose Mourinho remained in charge.

Karanka snapped: "Pedro Leon was wrong in what he said. Failing to return to the team will have nothing to do with Mourinho. He's played as little this season as he played last year and, in order to return, you have to play well and prove you're worthy.

"Callejon is the best example of that. That's what really matters, regardless of the coach."
