Luka Modric is edging closer to a Tottenham departure.
The Daily Star says Modric took a step closer to quitting Tottenham yesterday after talks with new boss Andre Villas-Boas.
The Croatian midfielder, 26, has been told he can leave once Spurs' £35m price tag is met.
Real Madrid are currently leading the chase, with Manchester United and mega-rich Paris St Germain also interested.
