Real Madrid could join Manchester United and Chelsea in Melbourne, Australia, next summer.
The Daily Mail says Real have held discussions with the Victorian Government about participating in a high-profile international tournament next summer as part of their preparations ahead of the 2015/16 campaign.
The Victorian Major Events Company-backed proposal would see Real and two other teams face each other in three matches at the iconic MCG next July.
Premier League giants Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are high on the tournament organisers wishlist to be the other teams involved in the competition alongside Real's eternal rivals Barcelona.
It is believed Victoria has all but secured the tournament, which will see the International Champions Cup move from America.
The 2014 eight-team edition was won by Manchester United after they beat Liverpool 3-1 in the final held at Miami's Sun Life Stadium.
